How can a woman or man 'really' know? If a woman thinks it is 'love at first sight', she may have found an incredibly 'hot' guy who matches her ideal social persona 'catch'. If this guy actually knows how to be a natural, all women will want him and she will have to fight with others to 'keep him' (I can teach you to be this man). Otherwise most of them appear to be quite boring because they try to impress her and don't 'get it'. But when dealing with 'love at first sight', yes it might be, but then longer term dynamics start to sink in and kind of spoil it.Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder, I mean, beholder.'Love at first sight' is usually only perceptionally based if not in its entirety. No one can match up ideally to one person's expectation of who they are or who they should be. Once you find out more about them, you're going to be disappointed in what you thought they were. See how selfish we as people really are?!Eventually you go through the hardships of a 'real' relationship and very very rarely will everything work out perfectly where the people are a real match (at least in our highly developed, opinionated, individualistic cultural society). You are only throwing your perception or ideals on who you think that person is or should be (I have done this a lot in the past). We want a person to be the ideal match to what WE think they should be. Most often if not all the time, we find out they are not actually what we idealized and then are a little disappointed. A real relationship is going to take a lot of work and a lot more work than two 'simpler' people. If you can spark attraction shortly after you meet a woman, there is a more realistic chance she will feel deeper emotions for you than her social persona (of what states what she says she wants) and she will often forgive your other misgivings as long as you understand natural attraction. This is actually very generous of her because now, guys (way) below her level physically actually have a chance. The process of attraction is slightly different for men and women. Men will often instantly disqualify women for a sexual relationship based on their looks (ahem), while women keep an open mind to see who knows how to make them 'feel' the feelings that they respond to so powerfully physiologically and emotionally. They are interested in a mans character attributes because that are things that can be of interest for the long haul. These feelings have a biological root which she cannot choose or control. This is why an average looking guy who 'get's it' can have more of a chance than a good looking guy who easily proves himself wrong to her right away. She will resent that most of her counterparts do not 'get it' yet but will be open to starting something with a man who finally can just 'lead her through' the natural process of attraction...then often sex 'just happened' or she got 'swept away'..this is the way it is supposed to be and that she fantasizes about (and reads in those sappy romance novels).Don't be thrown off by what a woman says she wants if you are not that social reflection of her consciousness yourself, she is programmed biologically to react to men who are true naturals with her or who display aspects of being a natural. Do not let that stop you. Her biological inheritance (when in tandem with a true natural man) will override ANY social programming she may have, as long as he maintains true congruency and doesn't 'screw it up'. If you are a natural you probably won't screw it up when you are reaching that part of her (there is much more leniency here). If you are 'walking on egg shells' by trying to be 'qualified' by her social persona, it's virtually a guarantee you'll screw it up even with any small move. Take the very ending of 'Boat Trip' where Roselyn Sanchez says to the wussy Cuba Gooding, Jr. character, "Ok, but you BETTER not screw it up." Sure the movie ends with a kiss but who has the control here? Whose reality is he in? Love at first sight, but he is based in the wrong paradigm of 'being' that he WILL screw it up because of the power dynamics and several other factors (she is in control by far).In fact, you will almost put aside the entire notion of 'love at first sight' because it's too romancey for you (although you may secretly keep that dream alive); but you understand reality a little more, that different relationships with different women are going to give you different experiences. Of course you may be aware of lust at first sight with women you see most everywhere you go, but you really have to get to know her more to find out who she is, otherwise it is all just perception. If you can develop yourself to look as good as you can and get your internal paradigm and life straight and clear, then you can naturally accelerate the process of attracting women and starting things with little effort. Your focus should really be on developing yourself and living in a natural paradigm, while denying all of the perceptual B.S. that is going on. Be an interesting and intriguing man and improve yourself; HAVE something to offer women who are lucky enough.Your 'love at first sight' from their point of view only happens if you match their social ideal (and traditional ideal of Prince Charming) and then know how to take everything from there...then all women will want you. You do not have to be Prince Charming..that is another article, but remember how you relate to her says everything. She needs to be turned up like a volume knob and you have to interact with her to spark the process of sexual attraction and her interest will grow in you...through time, may lead to infatuation, love, great respect, devotion, passion, etc. from her.It is all in how you relate to her so don't pay too much attention to having to have Brad Pitt looks, with Soros' bank account...that's the same as you wanting to date a supermodel, except you probably have a better chance than she does to meet your ideal because there are so few men left who really get it and are a great catch in their own right (with some nice social status to boot). There are countless beautiful women. The advantage and favor is in YOUR hands. There are few men left who are awesome catches AND who know how to deal with these women. Make women want you just by being your true self at all times; an interesting, funny, great guy and know how to take it from there (I can help you there as well).

See Video

Are Obese Women Getting Short-Changed By Chemotherapy Treatments?

Are Obese Women Getting Short-Changed By Chemotherapy Treatments?
by: Naweko San-Joyz

How much chemotherapy does an obese woman need? Typically an obese woman with breast cancer would receive reduced doses of chemotherapy as they battle breast cancer. Back in June of 2005, a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine concluded that obese women should receive chemotherapy based on their actual women, and not in reduced as amounts as it the standard practice. And now again a study presented in the August 2005 edition of Lancet claims that doctors should not reduce chemotherapy doses for obese women when no receptors for the hormone oestrogen have been found on the breast cancer cells. This type of cancer is called oestrogen-receptor negative.Clinicians often reduce chemotherapy doses for obese patients because of worries about how the treatment may react with the patient and affect their overall health. According to the study’s director Marco Colleoni of the European Institute of Oncology, Italy, and his colleagues, reducing the first course of chemotherapy for obese patients with oestrogen-receptor negative breast cancer proves “detrimental”.Colleoni and his team looked at the relation between body-mass index (BMI), chemotherapy dose reduction, oestrogen receptor expression, and outcome for pre-menopausal women with breast cancer by examining data from four randomized trials. They found that 97 out of 249 obese patients received less than protocol specified dose during the first course of chemotherapy compared with patients with normal and intermediate BMI. Obese patients with oestrogen-receptor negative disease that received 85 more of the first protocol specified dose had significantly better disease-free survival and overall survival than those who received less than the normally recommended dosage. Yet, obese patients with oestrogen-receptor positive breast cancer who had reduced doses of chemotherapy did not have a significant difference in their outcome compared with those given the recommended chemotherapy doses. And contrary to popular practice, the researchers also noticed that obese patients initially treated with protocol doses of chemotherapy did not have more toxicity than patients who received reduced doses.Dr Marco Colleoni concluded that, “Our findings suggest that for women with ER-absent or ER-low tumours, reduction in chemotherapy dose should be avoided.”The message for obese women coping with cancer is to be aware of your risks and rights. Ask your doctor will she recommend lower doses of chemotherapy for you based on your weight and ask why.Resource: Lancet, Archives of Internal Medicine

About the author:Health author and Stanford University graduate Naweko San-Joyz lovingly writes from her home in San Diego. However women are ridiculous; they will check their reflections in any shiny surface, mirrors, spoons, shop windows."Then why do YOU think women misunderstand men and vice-versa? One basic fact of life. Women and men are different. I am not talking about their physical attributes, but in their attitudes to relationships.I am a man, writing this article. I have tried to be fair, but can I tell you ladies, I just can't understand you most of the time. But I am sure that most of you would answer, that you can't understand us men.I have been guilty of most of the attitudes listed, especially the shopping which I hate. Therefore to go a little way in imparting some understanding, here are 10 situations where the thinking of men and women go in opposite directions;

1) ANGER: When Anger or another problem enters a relationship A woman will want to repair the situation or problem before any sex. A man will think that making love will make it all right again.

2) TOUCHING: For women touching without sex is comforting and very soothing. They find that the touching gives a warm feeling of security. However for men touching without sex can easily be misunderstood and he can even feel threatened. Please understand that when men touch each other, it is in a rough manner. They slap or punch each other on the back. Tender touching makes many men feel vulnerable and dependent. These have been seen by men to be un masculine. Men find it uncomfortable with so much closeness. It makes them feel vulnerable. However women are not comfortable without this type of intimacy.

3) TELEPHONE: Men use the telephone or mobile phone as a communication device. It is to send short messages to each other. However women see the telephone differently. They use it to keep in touch with their friends supporting, helping and growing relationships. They are more interested in people and feelings than objects such as telephones and the latest video games.

4) SEX: When it comes to foreplay, women prefer 40-45 minutes of foreplay. However men on the other hand prefer 40-45 seconds of foreplay before sex

5) GOING OUT: When a man says he is ready to go out, it means he is ready to go out. However when a woman says she is ready to go out, it means she is ready, as soon as she finds her other piece of jewellery and makes just one more phone call.

6) SHOPPING: Women can shop all day and enjoy the whole experience. Its a chance to talk. They use talk to build and sustain connections with others. However men just want finish and close the situation. Its their nature. One can view this difference anytime with couples in shopping malls.

7) BATHROOMS: A man has on average around 5-6 items in his bathroom. A woman on the other hand has over 200 items in her bathroom. Make no attempt to ask a man to identify all these items.

8) DRESSING UP: A woman will dress up to go shopping, gardening, answer the phone, or get the post. A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.

9) CHILDREN: A woman knows all about her children. She knows about doctors and dentists appointments. All their friends, their favorite and not so favorite foods, plus their secret fears and their hopes and dreams. Most men, though not as many as years ago, are aware of some short people sharing the home.

10) TOYS: Little girls love to play with toys. Then when they reach the age of approximately 12, they seem to lose the interest. However, men NEVER grow out of their obsession with toys. As they get older, the toys simply get more expensive. One shopping channel has a section called "Big Boys Toys."

The Women’s Plus Size Clothing Revolution

The Women’s Plus Size Clothing Revolution
by: Donna Monday

Once upon a time, not too long ago, if you were a woman who wore clothes over a size 14 your clothing choices were limited to cheap looking, baggy and unattractive clothes that made you look old before your time.My how times have changed! There has been a cultural shift in the acceptance of plussize women, particularly in the fashion industry. Women’s plus size clothing is no longer relegated to the back of the isle racks. Now days, it’s easy to find trendy plus size clothes such as: dresses, workout clothes, evening wear and swimwear.Plus size celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Camryn Manheim, and Star Jones have also helped to usher in the era of plus size fashions. These women take pride in looking fashionable no matter how much their weight fluctuates. You can even see a once thin actress, Kirstie Alley, strut her stuff in her new cable show “Fat Actress”. This would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.Even the high fashion industry has taken notice. Models such as Emme have become famous for modeling large size fashions for women. Agencies are also looking for aspiring plus size models. Women looking for designer plus size clothes online will not be disappointed. In the past, clothing for large size women 22w to 44w was extremely difficult to find – and forget about being fashionable. Now, companies are springing up like Making It Big, who cater exclusively to this fashion hungry niche of clothing for big women. If you are looking for big women clothing, you now have more choice than ever when it comes to large size clothes for women.Another old taboo in full figured clothing was that plus size women didn’t look good in ladies intimate apparel. Oh, I’m not talking about women wearing a large size bra (which it’s now easier to find comfortable large size bras). Plus size bras have been available for a long time. No, I mean really sensual full figure intimate apparel.Designers have discovered that any woman will look good in intimate apparel if it’s made right for her body. Now, even in this fashion segment, plus sized women’s clothing has grown leaps and bounds. Plus size intimate apparel comes in all colors, styles and sizes, so that you can show off your sensual side too, ladies!Need nice clothes for work? You can find an array of plus size suits, including: plus size pants suits, and plus size women’s suits.Going to the beach or pool? It’s now possible to find a wide selection of plus size swimming suits. Where plus size swim suits used to be mostly black and unattractive, they are now very colorful and figure flattering.Getting married? Obtaining a wedding dress plus size is no longer a huge ordeal. If you are looking for a large size wedding dress, with all the frills, or a plus size informal wedding dress, you’ll be delighted at the selection you’ll find online and offline. No bride should have an ill-fitting wedding dress, or be denied beautiful style that their thinner sisters enjoy. Many wedding boutiques and some online outlets offer beautiful plus size wedding dresses, and be assured that your plus size wedding dress will fit and look beautiful.Yes, my friends. The plus size women’s clothing revolution has arrived. Our plus size sisters can now have a closet full of great looking clothes and keep pace with the best fashionistas. Not only is this great for plus size women, it’s great for society as well. Everyone can now see that a woman’s inner and outer beauty has nothing to do with size.

Planning Schedule For Your Designer Prom Dress

Planning Schedule For Your Designer Prom Dress

by Robin OBrien

Just about every girl dreams about Prom but, as the big day approaches, many start to suffer from nerves. This is almost always because they've left things to the last minute. Here are some tips about when to start looking, when to buy, when to find accessories, when to order flowers and when to plan all the other numerous details involved in getting your designer prom dress to look perfect for Prom.
3 Months Before Prom
You really need to start looking now for your designer prom dress; ideally you should have started sooner. It's important to have an idea of what designer you like best and what style will best complement your body shape: Are you a glamorous Jovani prom dress girl, or a modest Tiffany prom dress girl? Choosing the perfect gown is what should take the most time; so start thinking ahead early. Tip: try and find as many of the accessories at the same time you choose your dress. Many online retailers provide a pretty comprehensive list of suggested items that will beautifully accessorize a particular dress.
2 Months Before Prom
This is the time to actually buy the gown. You need to allow for delivery time - this can take several weeks. Also, don't assume that because you buy a designer prom dress online that the delivery will be quicker; it won't. You also need to buy now so that you'll have plenty of time to make any minor adjustments that are necessary.
1 Month Before Prom
If you've ordered as scheduled above, you should now have received your gown. You can now make any adjustments that are needed. If you haven't already got all the accessories you need, go out and find them now! Do not leave this to the last minute; finding tiaras, jewelry, gloves, handbags, shoes and the countless other items takes time. Decide on the hairstyle you want. If you're doing it yourself, now is the time to try out the style to see if it matches the overall theme. If you're going to a stylist, make an appointment now, again to test out the style, and book a second appointment just before Prom; don't forget that this is a busy time of year for hairdressers, so book early. Lastly, don't forget about makeup. Test out various lipsticks, mascaras etc, so you're sure which shades will complement your dress as well as your own coloring.
2 Weeks Before Prom
Call or visit a florist to order a boutonniere for your date that complements your dress. Make sure your date has ordered a corsage for you; don't assume that he'll have done this.
1 Week Before Prom
It's time for a final dress rehearsal. Put on your designer prom dress and accessories and do a final check that everything is as it should be. Tip: have a friend take some pictures of you from several angles; that way you can be really sure that everything looks perfect. It's important to test walking around in your new shoes; walk up and down the stairs for practice and to check on comfort. Make sure that you have all the makeup you need, if not, buy it now. Reconfirm your appointment with your hair stylist.
1 Day Before Prom
Check your camera is working. Pick up your date's boutonniere from the florist. Check that your handbag/purse has everything you need. You'll want breath freshener, lipstick, perfume, makeup compact for minor touch-ups, cell phone and anything else you might need.
Prom Day
It often helps to do a little bit of exercise in the morning to help you feel fresh and slimmer. Use a pore-refining mask in the morning so your skin looks and feels fresh. Make sure you turn up on time to your hair stylist. Wear a loose shirt that can be later removed without ruining your hair and makeup. Leave putting on your designer prom dress for as long as possible, until you're ready to leave home.
Prom Night
This is your special day so savor each and every moment of it.

About the Author
Follow the links for a designer prom dress like the Jovani prom dress and the Tiffany prom dress as well as many others.

Self Esteem for Women

Self Esteem for Women

by Katrina Wilton

"Would you consider yourself someone with high self esteem, or low self esteem?" The natural reaction when asked a question like this may well be "high self esteem of course!", but the truth may paint a very different picture.
Self esteem for women, especially, seems to be generally lower than it should be, and unfortunately far too often accompanied by poor body image. Why then are so many women subject to this deprecating state of mind? Perhaps it comes back to the natural laws of femininity. You see, a woman in her natural, feminine state has an in-built desire to radiate beauty. It's the very reason that we women wear make-up, shave our legs, wax our eyebrows, love to shop, etc.
If that desire for beauty extended to finding that which we already have, it would be an absolute blessing. Unfortunately however, the unhealthy side of that desire for beauty, is in seeking it externally and creating unhealthy comparisons to others.
This damaging act of comparison is concerning enough in its own right, but consider who we are really comparing ourselves against. Whether consciously or not, we are most certainly using the media images that we're constantly bombarded with as a benchmark for what is the 'right' size, body shape or look.
The problem with that is this; the women in the media - actresses, singers, models, etc - are in front of the camera for a living! Their livelihood revolves around how good they look with their faces and bodies featured up close and personal on giant screens around the world. I'm certain just about anyone in the same position would make it an absolute priority to ensure there isn't a scrap of fat to be seen, or a single hair out of place. They have the money, the resources and, most importantly, extreme motivation to ensure that this standard is always maintained - and all too often at the cost of their health.
The other problem with using the media as a benchmark can be found in the simple act of picking up a magazine. It only takes a quick flip through the pages of any women's fashion magazine to make even a woman with great self esteem feel like a fat pig! Between the scarily thin catwalk models, and the lighting, make up, good photography, and of course airbrushing and photoshop techniques, the end result is that we find ourselves envying a picture of a woman who isn't even real.
In fact, for a wonderful example of what's involved in creating the finished look of a model in a print advertisement, I highly encourage you to watch the video that Dove put together as part of their Campaign for Real Beauty.
Naturally none of this is to say that we shouldn't care about our appearance, or enjoy making ourselves look and feel beautiful, but simply that if we must peg ourselves against a benchmark, perhaps we should consider someone more realistic.
It's so important to keep ourselves healthy from the inside out, and that includes our mind... Don't let these unrealistic images of beauty fool you into thinking you're not good enough the way you are.
My tip for this is to make a list of everything you like about yourself from the inside out. In fact, one exercise I did was to go through my body parts one by one and write down why I loved them. I can assure you that when I got to my thighs, I found it a little challenging, but I managed to come up with how much I love that they are strong and carry me wherever I want to go!
Don't let the negative thoughts creep in, they are like a cancer for your mind... find reasons to love everything about who you are, in all your fabulous individuality!

About the Author
Katrina Wilton is Co-Founder of GlowWomen.com. I'm sure if your medicine cabinet looks anything like mine, you have spent a small fortune on skin care and ways to tame the oil and breakouts. Well, while brainstorming with my team, I found out that I am not the only one who faces battle (no pun intended) every time I go to the store to find products that work for oily skin. Below are a few of the regimens my other oily skin, acne-prone colleagues and I use and swear by. I hope you can find a regimen in here that works just right for you too! Beauty on a Budget (Routines less than $25)--Drugstore.com Neutrogena Cleanser: Rapid Clear Oil-Control Foaming Cleanser (6 oz.) $7.39 Moisturizer: Oil-Free Anti-Acne Moisturizer (1.7 oz.) $6.99 Total: $14.38 -This is a great regimen for someone who wants a no-hassle, no-frills routine that works! I personally use this routine when traveling or when my skin is out of control and quickly needs to be whipped back into shape. The moisturizer is light and non-greasy and the cleanser actually does what it says in preventing excess oil production on your face. Please note, this routine probably works best for those who have oily skin as opposed to actual breakouts.
Clean & Clear Cleanser: Advantage Acne Cleanser (5 oz.) $5.96 Moisturizer: Advantage Oil-Free Acne Moisturizer Salicylic Acne Medication (4 oz.) $6.29 Treatment: Advantage Acne Spot Treatment (0.75 oz.) $5.99 Total: $18.24 -This routine has worked for a few of my team members, but beware it can strip skin of necessary moisture and may burn slightly if overused. From all contributing parties, I gathered that this is a routine that is best used only for a short period of time, probably 4 weeks or less. The moisturizer is a tad bit heavy so only a very small amount is needed and is best applied when the skin is still slightly damp (such as directly after being pat dry from washing).
L'Oreal Cleanser: Pure Zone Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser (6.7 oz.) $5.19 Toner: Pure Zone Pore Tightening Astringent (6.7 oz.) $5.19 Moisturizer: Pure Zone Skin Relief Oil-Free Moisturizer (2.5 oz.) $5.19 Total: $15.57 -Once again, this is a great routine that I have tried myself. The cleanser is great and so is the astringent. With this regimen, I would also highly recommend using less of the moisturizer, because it is a bit thick. The following instructions detail what I did to get the best results out of this routine: 1) Wash face with lukewarm water + cleanser 2) Pat face dry, and make sure there is no excess moisture left on the skin 3) Let face air dry further for about 20 seconds 4) Apply a dime-size amount of the astringent onto a cotton ball and swab face gently (you don't need a lot of astringent for it to work, so don't try and over saturate your face with astringent, this will leave a sticky residue behind if you do.) 5) Let astringent dry on face for about 1 minute, this will allow face to dry but still be slightly damp. 6) Apply a half a dime-size amount of moisturizer to face, in an even layer.
Dr. Hauschka Skin Care Kit, Daily Face Care Kit for Oily/Impure Skin $21.95 Total: $21.95 -Tried this one on an impulse buy and was pleasantly surprised by the results, this product line is great because they use organic extracts and no synthetic additives. Definitely worth a try.
Mid-Range Beauty (Routines less than $75)--Beauty.com Dr, Brandt Kit: Poreless Essentials Kit $55.00 Total: $55.00
Juice Beauty Kit: Organics to Clear Skin Kit $39.00 Total: $39.00
skyn ICELAND Kit: Detox Kit for Stressed Skin $35.00 Total: $35.00
Beauty Beyond a Budget (Routines over $100)--Beauty.com Peter Thomas Roth A.M. Cleanser: Beta Hydroxy Acid 2% Acne Wash (8 oz.) $35.00 Moisturizer: Environmental Repair Hydrating Gel (2 oz.) $40.00
P.M. Cleanser: Botanical Buffing Beads (8 oz.) $36.00 Treatment: AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel (2 oz.) $45.00 Total: $156.00 -A routine gotten from a beauty consultant at ULTA, in two words, THIS ROCKS! This treatment is used by several people I know. It is a two part routine that brings great results. If you are very sensitive to moisturizer, this routine is especially great for you. The lightweight gels are a very effective alternative to cream-based moisturizers and feel virtually weightless on.
Dr. Brandt Cleanser: Poreless Cleanser (8 oz.) $35.00 Toner: Poreless Tone (8 oz.) $35.00 A.M. Treatment: Poreless Gel (1.7 oz.) $55.00 Moisturizer: Poreless Moisture (3.5 oz.) $42.00 Maintaining Moisture Throughout the day: Pores No More (1 oz.) $45.00 P.M. Treatment: Poreless Pore Effect (1.7 oz.) $55.00 Total: $267.00
-For the woman who likes all the bells and whistles to her skincare routine! This regimen is not for the rookie but the woman well-versed in products application and how to effectively layer products. The routine has one devout follower on my team who takes her skin and keeping it clear very seriously. To get the best results, I would say read all of the labels to ensure the products are being applied in the correct order and amounts. This one is too complicated for my taste but I have seen the results first hand and can see that it works. BORBA Cleanser: Clarifying Fiber-Knit Facial Cleanser, Pomegranate (6.8 oz.) $18.00 Treatment: Clarifying Fiber-Knit Facial Concentrate, Pomegranate (1.7 oz.) $30.00 A.M. Moisturizer: Clarifying Fiber-Knit Lotion, SPF 15, Pomegranate (3.4 oz.) $25.00 P.M. Moisturizer: Clarifying Fiber-Knit Night Repair Lotion, Pomegranate (3.4 oz.) $27.00 Internal Treatment Clarifying Skin Balance Aqualess Crystalline System, Pomegranate (30 Days) $100.00 Total: $200.00
-If you want to use one of the hottest systems used today, then this is it! BORBA is really effective in targeting the problems areas each product and skin balance water was especially formulated to treat. I have tried and loved this treatment, as do many others on my team. The only downside is the monthly cost.
skyn ICELAND Cleanser: Glacial Facial Wash (5.95 oz.) $30.00 A.M. Treatment: Nordic Skin Peel (60 ea.) $45.00 Moisturizer: The ANTIDOTE Quenching Daily Lotion (1.76 oz.) $45.00 P.M. Treatment: Anti-Blemish Gel (.5 oz.) $25.00 Moisturizer: Oxygen Infusion Night Cream (1.98 oz.) $75.00 Total: $220.00
-A routine that is highly favored by many on my team, and a great fallback when nothing else is working for myself, this regimen has a cooling effect which helps reduce swelling if you are having breakouts. Please note, even though this routine is for oily or acne-prone skin, everyone's skin and tolerance is different. You may need to adjust the "Treatment" in the A.M. or P.M. regimen. Excessive use of the Skin Peel or Anti-Blemish Gel can cause irritation. I would suggest starting with the Nordic Skin Peel about 3 times per week. Go from there, and add or subtract the treatments as you see fit. However, once you get the exact routine that works best for you, you will be amazed at the results of this product. P.S. I am absolutely addicted to the Face Wash.
I hope some of these regimens help you in your quest for perfect skin. It is a daily battle that can be won; it just takes persistence, patience, and drinking lots of water! And remember, everyone is different, though some of these regimens have worked well for my team and I, it doesn't mean you will necessarily have the same great results. I wish all of you the best and know that you are not in the battle alone!
About the Author
Saigon is a skincare guru and a freelance writer. There should be no shame associated with it, because hormones play a large part in this matter and sexual development is an important part in a person's physical and mental growth. What most teenagers can do, however, is control the circumstances associated with sexual awareness. As you begin to realize that there are acts that feel pleasurable when done with the opposite sex, you should also keep in mind that with awareness comes a good chunk of responsibility.
You can start by determining whether you really want to have sex or not. Do not allow yourself to be pressured into doing something you might not want to. Though it's good to share experiences with your close friends, do not allow them to dictate you. Have a good sense to think for your self. Keep in mind that abstinence is also a good thing. Wouldn't it be much wiser to wait for a little while than go rushing headlong into something you barely have an understanding on?
And just because you have decided to delay the sexual act doesn't mean you have to be ignorant about it. Learn all you can about sex and familiarize yourself with the concept of safe sex. Surf the internet, read pamphlets and pay attention to sex education courses available in your school. Know all you can about contraceptives, especially on using a condom. This is because the condom is probably the only contraceptive conveniently available to people your age. Be wary of hearsays and information passed by friends, as most are proven to inaccurate, if not completely unfounded.
Know that there are a lot of options available for you in preventing unwanted pregnancies and getting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), the most convenient and affordable of which is the condom. Though these contraceptive devices cannot completely assure 100% efficacy, it would certainly reduce the risks and help in AIDS prevention, especially if the condom is put on properly and is adequately lubricated.
If you feel a little hesitant in purchasing a condom in public, there's the option of obtaining it online and having it shipped right to your house. When you are in a romantic relationship, chances are things will take a sexual turn sooner or later. If you are a boy, practice putting on a condom and using it properly. Do not rely on demonstrations made in your sex education classes where they show students how to put on a condom the right way. Chances are, you might commit mistakes when doing the real thing, especially among the uninitiated. You want to feel relaxed and prepared If you are a girl, know that you can do something to further decrease the chances of getting pregnant, like being on pill or using spermicides. Seek guidance from your counselor or your parents, whomever you might feel comfortable talking your concerns with. And always insist on your boyfriend putting on a condom, not just for vaginal sex, but for all forms of sex, which includes oral and anal sex.
And when you are at an age when experimentation and 'living dangerously' are considered cool, emphasis should still be placed on taking good care of yourself and practicing safe sex. As much as possible, avoid sex when you are drunk or high on drugs, as these can lower your inhibitions and make you reckless enough to throw caution to the wind. In times like these, you might forget to put on a condom. STDs and HIV can strike just about anyone, anywhere. Once you have started having an active sexual life, have a regular medical check up and seek a doctor at the first sign if anything seems out of the ordinary.
Find more information visit: Teenagers and Sex: How to Approach It Properly

About the Author
CondomMan.com is a leading online retailer of condoms, selling name brand condoms like Durex, Trojan, Lifestyles and Beyond Seven for the best prices online. Buy Contraceptives Online with Condom Man. Learn how to put on a condom, how to choose the right condom for you, and more.

The Oils Needed To Make Perfume

The Oils Needed To Make Perfume

by Charlotte Hargreaves

Perfumes have been around for centuries. People extract the oils from plants and animals the mix this with water and alcohol to create the right scent that people will want to wear.
There are many different manufacturers in the world market. Some use the same ingredients while others have certain secrets which helps to differentiate one brand from anotherr.
The most important ingredient in creating your own perfume is the essential oils. Each one has a different chemical composition so those who want to start perfume making have to know the difference between a base, middle, top and bridge notes.
There are books and other related information on the Internet as well as kits that come with an instructional manual and other things inside that will be needed for mixing and storing the finished product.
The first step in perfume making is the combination of the oils. You should first mix a few drops each of the essential oils. It must always have a correct percentage of base, middle and top note.
It may not smell that good yet and that is why the next type of essential oil is needed. This is known as the bridge note that blends everything together to create the perfect scent.
After the essential oils have been mixed, it is the time to pour alcohol into the mixture. Some manufacturers have also used an Everclear beverage that is also works as an alcohol base.
The general rule when combining essential oils with alcohol is that a maximum of 20 drops must be administered for every 4 ml. of alcohol.
The final step in creating your perfume making is to add water. Once again, the vessel containing all the ingredients should be briskly shaken for everything to mix together well.
The perfume should be stored in a coloured bottle to prevent it from being exposure to light. After two days, the contents can then be placed in a sprayer bottle so that it can be used.
You also have the option of storing it for a longer period of time should you wish. It is best to check on the scent from time to time to make sure nothing is amiss. If you are are not satisfied add a little more oil into the fragrance and wait for a few more days for it to settle in.
Those who do this properly will notice that the scent will stay longer on the skin as some will just disappear within a few minutes.
There are various methods in making perfumes and this will really depend on the taste of the person developing it. Those who want it to last longer can pour more of a base essential oil rather than the middle or top. The important thing is that the person should follow the proper steps in making this happen.
A valuable tip when working with essential oils is to keep clear notes on everything. You will surely make some mistakes along the way but reviewing each stage will make it easy to narrow down where the error was committed.
Perfume making is always a lot of fun. There are many different oils and the only way to get it right is through trial and error.

About the Author
For the best advice on buying your favourite fragrances at huge discounts

Lipstick Colors: Match Lipstick Colors to Your Mood

Lipstick Colors: Match Lipstick Colors to Your Mood

by Nikki LeRoi

Ladies, you know what it's like when you go shopping for a new shade of lipstick. Here you are in the lipstick aisle looking up and down the rows of pinks, mauves, reds, and purple.
Gee, which color do I want?
Another minute goes by and you still haven't made up your mind. Darn those makeup manufacturers - so many shades to choose from. There are lipstick colors to go with every skin tone, every possible outfit, and every day or evening situation you may find yourself in.
Okay, you've got to make a decision somehow. Here's a suggestion. The next time you go lipstick shopping, pick out your lipstick colors to match each one of your moods.
Now, ladies, if you're like me you'll wake up in the morning and try to get dressed, but for some reason you just can't grab a quick outfit and go. Nope. You're realizing you're not in the mood to wear that pink top, or those brown pants, or that particular striped suit. Hmmm. You stand there a few minutes picking out this, throwing that aside, until you finally select just the right outfit for how you're feeling that day.
Well, let's do the same with lipstick. I promise this will be lots of fun.
Pink Lipstick Colors - Light pink shades are innocent, soft and gentle. Wear pink on your lips when you're feeling pretty and girly. Hot pink kicks things up a notch. Usually, hot pink is worn when you're feeling your girl power and wanna have some fun.
Orange Lipstick Colors - Orange shades are a breath of sunshine. Wear orange on your lips when you're relaxed, happy and feeling a little spunky. Orange is the color of sunshine, so it can really give you a lift on gloomy days.
Red Lipstick Colors - Red shades evoke confidence and independence. Wear red on your lips when you're feeling strong and in the mood to either make decisions or kick some butt. Yes, when you stroll in wearing your red lipstick, people better watch out - this woman means business.
Purple Lipstick Colors - Purple shades are mysterious and a little rebellious. Wear purple on your lips when you feel like stepping out of your comfort zone and want to be unique. Purple is never boring, but always cool and vibrant.
Brown Lipstick Colors - Brown shades are warm, earthy and inviting. Wear brown on your lips when you're feeling like kicking back and taking it easy. No fuss and no muss, just doing your thing.
Of course, if you're not sure what mood you're in, you can always mix two shades together and create your own individual colors.

About the Author
Give Yourself a 60-Second Make Over! http://www.1-minute-beauty-diva.com/

Hair style teen

Hair style teen
by Leigh Connelly

Hair style teen

Teens know what's going on most of the time when it comes to the fashion industry and the hairstyle choices that are most 'in' according to experts. Teens are usually on the cutting edge because they aren't afraid to try new and exciting styles and they are normally the first to examine the looks of Hollywood icons. Teen hair style can be wide and varied in the look and color; here are some considerations you may want to look at:
* Decide whether you want a new style or are just refreshing your current one! Before you can even begin to utilize a teen hair style you first have to decide what you want. If you are getting a completely new style then browse through some magazines, Teen and 17 are two of the top teenage hairstyle magazines. Also, try looking at your style/ shape face. This will have a lot to do with what hairstyle will work for you because as we all know, not every hairstyle works for every individual! If you are redefining your current style then look at a bang change, a color change or possibly a little trim. * Decide what image you are trying to get across! If you are going for a sporty look, a romantic look or an Emo look you are going to need completely different cuts so knowing your image will help tremendously! Look at your closet to examine your clothes if you want to match your teen hair style with clothes! * Decide on a good hair stylist! If you find a stylist who can imagine your style the way you want it then you have found a great thing! Your stylist obviously has a lot to do with what your end result will look like!
One of the biggest factors in the style of teen hair styles is the Teen Choice Awards. Each year the Teen Choice Awards comes along and the biggest teen celebrities get together in a Grammy type fashion and collect awards for their past year's performances. It is here that the teens show up with style and flair, often showing off the newest Hollywood trends- which are soon to become teen trends across the country!
Dane Cook, Ashley Simpson and Ashley Olsen are just a few of the big names at this event that influence girls and boys everywhere. Teen hair styles are some of the most unique and flavorful among all the demographics and the Teen Choice Awards bring the top hairstyles to the public each year!
more info visit www.designerhairstyle.com

About the Author
Leigh Connelly are about making you look and feel better than you ever dreamed possible While he was officially established in the year 2000, He have a long history of commitment to the fashion industry. Chances are the abuse and awareness both developed slowly and only when things got far out of control, did you notice. Most of us are good at not looking until we're forced to, it's called denial and mostly it's a healthy coping mechanism. However, with some conditions it's counterproductive. This is one of those conditions.
So, you have now awakened to the fact that there is an alcohol problem. What triggered this new awareness - bail requests, DUI's, bounced checks, etc. - doesn't really matter. You can, of course, delay doing anything productive by simply wrangling about these symptoms of alcohol abuse. Most people do, usually for years.
Why the delay? Sometimes it's the hope that the problem will just go away, and occasionally it does, for a while. Understandably, none of us really wants to head down the bleak road of alcoholism and treatment.
Additionally, and embarrassingly, there is also a certain allure in being connected to a drunk. Their problems overshadow yours and, in comparison, you always look good, to yourself and others. You are the long suffering one who never has to think about cleaning up your own act since theirs is so much worse and so obviously in need of attention. Of course you also have the permanent upper hand in any disputes and a good reason for absolutely anything you might be doing. Those are a lot of generally unacknowledged benefits to give up.
And, in a perverse way, if the drinking and its effects have become intolerable to you, working at fixing it means focusing on yourself, and these "benefits," not your "other," and not on the drinking. You need to begin with yourself because it’s all you can do. You need a new set of benefits.
In a word, you "disengage," both from his alcohol problem, and your sainthood.
If it's time for a change, it's important to remember that you can't change anyone but yourself, though that may be enough. As you change, those around you must too as they seek to establish a new balance in your relationship. No, you can't predict or control how or what they will do, and that's the scary part, but they will change. They may quit or modify their drinking; or decide they prefer their bottle to you and leave; or transfer their obsession to "recovery;" or vacillate for as long as you tolerate it. That decision may eventually be yours, but if you've been preparing yourself you will be able to make decent choices.
Yes, there are things you stop doing - mostly protecting the drunk from the logical consequences of their drinking. You don't post bail; visit them in jail; listen to intoxicated monologues; lie to their employers or families. On the active side, you do separate assets, accounts, and other financial matters as completely as possible. You find new activities to do with others and you do them regardless of complaints and manipulations. You look after your health. If you have children you look at ways to insure their safety and security.
The best part is that in taking care of yourself and improving your life you will feel much better about yourself and won't need a drunk to make you look good. You will look good and be good in your own right. That's a considerable achievement.
As women, we tend to wait for someone else to take the lead, but if we won't stand up for ourselves, why would anyone else? So stand up, you'll be glad you did.
Dr. Mary Ellen Barnes is President and co-founder of Your Empowering Solutions, Inc, a southern California based alternative alcohol counseling center. Boy meets girl. Love. Kisses. Miss made Mrs. And everyone assumes that they'll live happily ever after. But do they? If you don't want your marriage to go wrong you should understand that contrary to popular belief, nothing goes right in marriage unless you are mentally prepared for life together. Pointers to help you.
Don't waver between, "Should I?" or "Should I not?"
Entering into anything half-heartedly can end in disaster. If marriage is not what you want, do not be forced or cajoled into it. Being single has its own charm - the freedom it gives one is a wonderful lure. If marriage is something you do want, be sure that you feel drawn to your partner-to-be. Do not be pressurised into accepting someone you don't have a liking for.
Avoid acting in a manner which says, "I'm easily available".
Flirtatious behaviour and ways which clearly show that you are an easy catch do not add to your worth. It may tempt boys to have some fun with you but it will send you hurtling down in their estimation. The shy hard-to-get miss has far more appeal.
Be wary of Internet romance.
It starts as a bit of fun and ends with all fun drained out of your life. In cyberspace one is anonymous and nobody knows what the real truth is. So, don't be dazzled with the novelty and charm of it, but look before you leap into cyberspace.
Talk over those cherished dreams of yours with your partner-to-be.
The girl's right to a home of her own, to take up a job and related matters do not figure in marriage discussions among elders. It is for her, therefore, to tactfully find out her partner's stand on matters that are important to her.
Fiona's was an arranged match and, when George told her they'd be staying with his mother, she spoke out her mind saying, "But I need my own space. If you can't give it to me, this marriage will be no fun and I'd rather opt out of it." They talked this over with his mother and came up with a solution acceptable to both. With prickly matters like these agreed upon beforehand, the marriage stands to gain.
Seek knowledge, for it is a safe guide while ignorance can misguide.
A girl needs to be mentally prepared to take up her new role as wife, daughter-in-law and mother, but sad to say, she often is not. There are matters - personal, health-related and sexual - that the couple, especially the girl, would like advice on. But parents treat these matters as taboo. In that case, the couple should seek information from books and on-line material or go for counselling. Sound knowledge is the basis of a sound marriage.
Being prudish and refraining from talking about intimate concerns can hurt a marriage.
Certain questions like when to start a family and how big it should be, did not arise in the past but are inevitable now as present-day couples are driven by personal ambitions and pressures of work.
Being very specific about such matters can take a load off the mind.
Newly-wed Wendy was deeply distressed and when pressed for the reason, told her husband about her fear that kids may stand in the way of her higher studies. On being reassured that they'd think of children only after she had fulfilled all her ambitions, she was relieved. Such assurances are important, for thwarted desires can give rise to negative feelings in a marriage.
Your appearance and looks can send your man's heart racing.
So, be graceful and dress decently. Look attractive and smart and, above all, maintain a trim figure even after marriage. Every man likes to show off his wife but a dowdy and badly-dressed woman is someone he'll cringe from. Dressing revealingly, however, is a big no-no. Though men enjoy seeing skimpily dressed women, they don't want their wives to dare and bare.
Remember the age-old saying "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach".
It was grandma's approach route. It has been tried out for years and has vintage flavour. Why not make it yours by learning to be a good cook?
A happy home can bind hearts together.
So, master the art of good housekeeping and make your home invitingly bright and warm. "I hate to go home because mine is a filthy place run by a scowling wife," complains a husband as he walks away in disgust.
That should remind you that winning or losing a battle on the home front depends largely on how bright your home is and how vivacious you are.
Courtship time need not be all romance and moonshine but can be reality-check time.
It can be an opportunity for the couple to learn about each other's strengths and weaknesses, loves and hates and anything else of importance. This will not only prepare them to adjust to each other's ways but will also enable them to use their own strong points to offset the weak ones of the other and vice versa.
Seeing her fiance spending lavishly on her, Karen knew that he was a spendthrift and pointed out that this could be a hurdle in their marriage. "I'm frugal," she told him," and am adept at saving. So, let me handle the household finances after marriage while you do something you are good at, like choosing the gadgets and seeing to their upkeep." Since it was courtship time, he readily agreed. As feelings are warm during this period, agreements are not hard to reach and small arrangements like this can help marriage click in a big way.
Know that lovers' bliss has to end some day.
When this happens, flaws are detected, irritation surfaces and anger erupts. Every couple needs to be prepared to handle this stage and to do this, they must be well apprised of certain time-tested ways of interaction that can be helpful. Here are some:
Cultivate the I-for-you and you-for-me attitude from the very start.
Marriage is neither dominance nor servitude but a partnership. So, partners should learn to forget the egoistic 'I' for the self-effacing 'we', in their relationship. Jane hated to forego her early morning sleep and her husband came to her aid by finishing off all the early chores. This pleased her so much that she readily overlooked the way he threw about his things untidily, and tidied up for him. Such a give-and-take attitude can lessen friction in marriage.
Learn to handle your partner's ego with care.
Marital relations deteriorate when egos are hurt. Egos need to be cherished with appreciation rather than be crushed by constant fault-finding. During courtship, appreciation is unstinted and everything is rosy. Couples should remember this and they should be firmly committed to putting into marriage what made life so great for them before.
Let's face facts. "My wife is a great cook and the dishes she cooks are always great!" brags Dennis to his friends - but he never tells her' so. "My husband has a nasty temper but is very helpful around the house," admits wife to everyone else except her husband.
This failure to give due credit to each other builds up resentment in both. Each day offers so many opportunities to every couple to say heart-warming words to each other. If you say them as you readily, did during your courtship, much that goes wrong in marriage can be set right.
This is because appreciation is a great mood-enhancer and a healer of emotional hurts. It can be the vitamin A that keeps your marriage in good health.
Add spice to your married life with some romantic moments.
When two heads come together with antagonism they will soon be at loggerheads, but romance has that magical ability to drive away unkind feelings from the mind. A few quiet moments together, a short walk in the moonlight, a soft touch, a lingering caress, a silent locking of the eyes, sweet nothings whispered into eager ears, do not take time but they make you forget hurts and keep hearts locked in love's embrace. So, give this magic of love a chance to keep things straight.
Learn to fight the right way.
Fighting is an inbuilt danger to marriage but it need not be an evil that destroys it. I once heard a lawyer and his wife fighting so violently that they could be heard all over the place. Minutes later, they were walking arm in arm to their car. That's how fights should be: just a release for pent-up feelings and forgotten in a flash.
Not dragging yesterday's faults of omission and commission into today's quarrel is important, for that would be nagging which really hurts and wounds. Nobody wants to lose an argument, so a little give and take or meeting your partner half-way is a great idea.
Marriage, as all will agree, is a 24 X 7 commitment, highly taxing and very demanding with no holidays allowed and no breaks permitted. Such a trying relationship will not flourish on its own.
Strange to say, so much time, attention and money are spent on the wedding, which is a one-day affair, while no thought is given to preparing the couple for marriage, which is an exacting life-long involvement.
With a little prior guidance and direction, a couple can be emotionally prepared and mentally conditioned to adjust and attuned to each other's needs in living together. When that is done, much that can go wrong in a marriage begins to go right.

About the Author
Michael Douglas reveals the key secrets to a happy marriage and here are some signs to know if your man is ready to tie the knot.

Reasons Why Women Fall in Love with Older Men

Reasons Why Women Fall in Love with Older Men
Author: Ovi Dogar

If you are a man and you’re over 35 years old, if you are attracted by younger women but you are afraid of being rejected or not to be taken seriously, you will find out the real thing about this issue in this article.Let’s state an irrefutable fact: most women over 25 and single are already disappointed by men of their age. And their big problem is to find a mature man that can satisfy their needs. Here is another fact: in most cases men reach their maturity level after the age of 30. These women believe that older men won’t break their hearts the way younger men have done; they believe that an older man will have the commitment and the willingness required for a long term relationship. Age indicates maturity, and decision making ability. Many people believe couples with the same age don't respect each other. Younger women, on the other hand, enjoy having someone take care of them and are attracted to an older person's accomplishments, economic stability and EMOTIONAL MATURITY.Make sure you share similar life views and goals, despite your age difference. Do you both appreciate each other's friends? Do you share the same principles when it comes to family? So, an age difference of 7 - 15 years can lead to a really great relationship if both partners are willing to. That’s because we don't choose who we fall in love with, it simply happens.View all Ovi Dogar's articles

About the Author: eBridex.com is the largest database of romanian women

Are Women Really Superior to Men?

Are Women Really Superior to Men?
by: Salma N. Ajani

While doing my search for this idea, I came across something interesting on the web. At a hospital the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where a family member lay gravely ill. Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and serious. Surveying the worried faces, the doctor said, "I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news. The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky, you will have to pay for the brain yourselves." The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a great length of time, someone asked, "Well, how much does a brain cost?" The doctor quickly responded, "$5,000 for a male brain, and $200 for a female brain." The moment turned awkward. Men in the room tried not to smile; avoiding eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked. One man, unable to control his curiosity, blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, "Why is the male brain so much more expensive?" The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and said to the entire group, "It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to mark down the price of the female brains, because they've been used." Keeping all kidding aside, let’s answer this age old question; evaluate what we know up to this point, scientifically as well as culturally. Are women really superior to men? Now research is confirming that the brains of men and women are somewhat different. Studies show that human male brains are, on average, approximately 10 percent larger than female brains. Certain brain areas in women, however, contain more nerve cells. We must pay special interest on the amount of “gray matter,” the part of the brain that allows us to think. The researchers wanted to know if women have as much gray matter as men or more to make up for the smaller brains. Later, it was proven that women have 55.4 percent gray matter, vs. 50.8 in men. Men listen with only one side of their brains, while women use both, according to information on brain imaging presented in November 2002, at the 86th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Other research suggests that on average the female brain performs better on some skills, while the male brain executes other tasks at a higher level. It makes sense that brains vary between the sexes. Each sex had a very defined role in ancient time, which helped ensure the survival of the human race. Cave men hunted. Cave women gathered food near the home, and cared for the children. None of these show superiority, but does show that we are made differently, with different needs, and different ideas. Why do we then compare for superiority, or even expect the other to be just like us? It is important to realize that man and women are made differently, for a reason. Especially women, need someone she can talk to, share her ideas with and grow with. Man need to hunt, to protect, not ask for directions when they are lost, or I should say just be Men. In old times, especially in Asian and Eastern cultures, women had many disadvantages (compared to now). Male Emperors would marry many women. Society did not provide woman with many rights. Women were pretty much confined to their homes. However, despite of these disadvantages, there were few women who had access to that woman wisdom, or power. Now, what was the difference between those women, who found their power, vs. those who did not? The answer is synergy. These powerful women were each other’s support. No jealousies, no putting other women down; just supporting each other to the best of their ability. In fact, when the male emperor would mate with one of his wives, other wives would take care of that wife ahead of time. Give her massages, feed her wonderful and healthy foods, talk to her, and provide her with all the emotional support that was needed. Today, women have more rights, more freedom, better living conditions. They are lot more aggressive, but they still do not feel as empowered, peaceful and in control. In today’s society, the concept of women bonding is pretty much lost. Even when a woman goes to different feminine organizations, her goal is networking, improving her business, and benefiting anything and everything, but herself. If you pay close attention and realize that the difference between a plant, which is alive, and a plant which is dead, is the plant which is alive, is growing. In order for our children to survive, and humankind to flourish in the future, our children must evolve beyond us. In order for them to go beyond us, they need to understand life from all points of view, both male and female. That is why we are here, to teach, to guide, and to help the universe expand and evolve with our differences. One day I was flipping TV channels where I came across one of those shows where a priest was giving a sermon. He asked something very interesting to his congregations. The question was, “What is the best thing a father can do for their children”? The answer was “Love their mother”. Now this is something I have learned all through my life in my family as to how much powerful a woman can be. I do not mean physically or even mentally. In fact, I grew up learning that my brothers were much smarter and stronger then I was. But there was always this converse of women power or women wisdom, which was always talked about, but was never clarified. Many women do not realize that their superiority and strength comes from bonding with other women. Man can’t full fill all of your needs and desires. When it comes to emotional bonding, which usually comes from talking, sharing and connecting, girlfriends are the key. Cherish your friends, and specially your women friendships. Both Man and woman need to be supportive and a source of strength for each other, but timing is the key. Women who have other women to bond with, to share with, to educate and grow with, have more peaceful marriages. These women do not desire to talk to their husbands as soon as he walks into the home, tired from work. In fact, they become source of strength and support for him. More then half of the marriages end up in divorce in this country. Some time it feels that all the advancement are coming to us with a hefty price. More and more women find themselves helpless, in one form or the other. All it boils down to is that all the power and freedom did not come with the wisdom it required. Woman before us got us the power to move forward, now, it is our responsibility to add wisdom to this power before passing on to our next generation. The difference between man and women are logical. It makes sense that brains vary between the sexes. Men tend to be more natural-born protectors while women are natural-born nurturers. When women use these natural abilities to form, cultivate, and foster business relationships, they can create lasting business associations in the business circle. To answer the question, are women superior to men? The answer is, it does not really matter, if we choose not to use that power and wisdom already given to us. From the beginning of the time, only a handful of women are using their full power and wisdom. They understand, and choose to learn and choose to use their strengths. Whether you are a at-home mom or a working women, understanding and connecting with other woman, educating ourselves and truly supporting each other, will help us be who we naturally are, phenomenal women.

About the author:
Salma Ajani is the Managing Consultant at Ajani & Associates. Most woman go on to have a normal sex life, some have a heightened response, while others are less able to have a sexual response following hysterectomy due to their perceived loss of femininity. Some women may notice a change in their sexual response after the uterus has been removed. For example, uterine contractions a woman might have associated with orgasm may no longer be perceived. Other women may experience a heightened response. This may be due to the fact that they no longer have to worry about getting pregnant and no longer have tremendous pain or dysfunctional bleeding. If the ovaries are not removed, the outer genitals and the vagina are not affected and remain lubricated when a woman is sexually aroused. If the ovaries are removed at the time of hysterectomy, vaginal dryness may be a problem during sexual intercourse. Vaginal dryness can be helped with the use of estrogen cream. During a hysterectomy your doctor removes vaginal tissue. This may make the vagina shorter. Deep thrusting during intercourse may be painful. Changing positions during intercourse may help, such as being on top or bringing your legs closer together. Recently interest in supracervical hysterectomies (where the cervix is not removed at time of hysterectomy) has grown out of speculation that women might enjoy better sexual function after hysterectomy when the cervix is left in place. A new study has found there is no difference in sexual function or quality of life when a supracervical hysterectomy is performed instead of a total abdominal hysterectomy. Post hysterectomy depression may interfere with sexual response. Depression may follow a hysterectomy from a concept that femininity and an intact functioning uterus are one. Some women link their self-image with reproductive ability. Menses reminds a woman of her uniqueness where hysterectomy takes away this cue. Many women have a brief emotional reaction to the loss of the uterus and ovaries that erodes their sense of well-being and femininity. If the problem persists please discuss your feelings with your doctor. Be sure if you are considering a hysterectomy you discuss your personal health and medical history with your doctor. He or she will help you decide what procedures are best for you given your personal condition. Many women find this procedure helpful to their overall health and well-being, especially if they are at risk for certain cancers or other debilitating health conditions. http://www.womenshealthcaretopics.comAbout the author:Dr. James Brann is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Otherwise known as striae gravidarum, stretch marks look like streaks on the surface of the skin, and may be vary in color depending on your natural skin color. Most lighter skinned women develop pinkish stretch marks, whereas darker skinned women tend to have stretch marks that are lighter than the surrounding skin. Most women develop stretch marks on their abdomen during pregnancy, however it is also common to get stretch marks on the buttocks, hips, breasts and thighs. In some cases up to 90 percent of women have stretch marks on some part of their body as a result of pregnancy. What Causes Stretch Marks?Stretch marks form when your skin is stretched rapidly as happens during pregnancy. Most women develop stretch marks during the later trimesters of pregnancy though some women start to develop them as soon as their bellies start growing.Stretch marks are actually small tears that form in the tissue that supports the skin and helps it stretch. Stretch marks represent the tearing or separation of collagen from the skin when tearing occurs. Stretch marks are not harmful or painful and usually fade over time.Who Gets Stretch MarksMany women believe that using lotions and creams help prevent stretch marks. Realistically speaking however, the number of stretch marks you get depends on how elastic your skin is. The elasticity of your skin usually relates to your genetic make up. The best thing you can do is find out if your mother got bad stretch marks during pregnancy. If she did, you are probably more prone to stretch marks than other women.Keep in mind the more weight you gain during pregnancy the more likely you are to have stretch marks. Normally the skin is elastic and capable of stretching quite a bit, however for some women the changes that occur during pregnancy are very drastic. These rapid fluctuations of weight and skin stretching can result in stretch marks.Women with multiples are more likely to get stretch marks because their bellies usually grow much larger than women with single pregnancies. Other women likely to develop stretch marks include women who gain a lot of weight quickly during their pregnancy and women who carry big babies. Here are some other factors that may contribute to your susceptibility to stretch marks:* If you developed stretch marks before (like on your breasts during puberty) you are more likely to get stretch marks while pregnant.* If you had stretch marks during another pregnancy you will usually get them again.* If you are overweight or gain more weight than recommended you are more likely to get stretch marks.* The better hydrated and well nourished you are the less likely you are to develop serious stretch marks.Stretch Mark PreventionMost women believe that they can prevent stretch marks by using creams and lotions. There are many formulations on the market today that claim to help prevent stretch marks. Some of these may help moisturize your skin and reduce itching. They may help reduce some stretch marks however there are no scientific studies that support this. You probably know at least one parent however that swears by cocoa butter or some other formulation to prevent stretch marks. If nothing else rubbing these creams into your belly provides your unborn baby with a light and comforting massage. They may also give you peace of mind knowing you did everything possible to prevent stretch marks. The best thing you can do to minimize stretch marks aside from using any creams or moisturizers you select is gaining the recommended amount of weight during pregnancy. Doctors recommend most women gain between 25 and 34 pounds. Gaining much more than this can cause you to develop more stretch marks.Removing Stretch MarksMost women worry about stretch marks after they have their baby. Fortunately most stretch marks do fade with time. Usually after 12 moths postpartum most stretch marks are light and less noticeable. Their texture may remain different from the surrounding skin however. Many women notice their stretch marks fading into whitish lines that are minimally noticeable. Some women have very severe stretch marks that impact their self esteem after pregnancy. There are many treatments available for women that want to improve the appearance of their stretch marks. If your stretch marks are particularly bad, you may consult with your doctor or a dermatologist. Some topical treatments such as tretinoin cream can help reduce stretch marks. These creams must be used after pregnancy however, because they can cause defects in your unborn baby. Most of the topical treatments available should be used shortly after delivery, before they start to fade. The more time that passes between the delivery and use of cream, the less likely they are to be effective. If you are breastfeeding it is important you consult with your doctor before using any stretch mark treatments. Some treatments may impact your milk supply or pass through the breast milk to your baby. Most of the creams available to reduce stretch marks do not help relieve the sagging skin that also accompanies childbirth. There are some newer treatments including laser treatments however that may improve the skins elasticity and help reduce stretch marks. Some women also consider plastic surgery after they are done having children. A tummy tuck can help hide some stretch marks and reduce sagging skin. Most women are able to joyfully overlook stretch marks when they consider the miracle of life they bring into the world. For the most the small annoyance even the worst stretch marks bring are well worth the joys of bringing a newborn baby into the world. Do what you can during pregnancy to maintain an appropriate weight and try not to worry too much about stretch marks. Many women wear them with pride, a ‘war wound’ or “badge of honor” related to their pregnancy. Why not wear them with pride? They want to retain the wisdom of their years, but they certainly don’t want to look, or feel, old. Fortunately there are natural ways for women to treat menopause and the health challenges that accompany aging. The years may pass, but you can still feel – and look – young, healthy and vital.End hormone-replacement therapy confusionFor years, some women looked on hormone-replacement therapy (HRT) as a panacea for aging. They took HRT not only for uncomfortable symptoms like hot flushes, irritability, and insomnia, but also as a preventative to help protect themselves from diseases like heart disease, stroke, and even Alzheimer's. Then the "HRT risk" studies began to appear. If you've been to see your doctor lately, you'll find that the doctor is as confused as you are. It seems that HRT is not the ultimate solution that women hoped for, and may even cause the very problems women were hoping to avoid. Some women decided that they could face the risks and stayed with hormone treatment. Some women stopped taking HRT and sought other solutions instead: natural remedies.Researchers believe that going the natural route is better for women's health, because each woman experiences menopause in her own way. Some women have no symptoms. Others have both physical and emotional symptoms that make their lives a misery.Stay forever young with Goldshield Elite anti-aging products for womenGoldshield Elite has a full range of products to help women to look and feel young, and to improve their general health and well-being.Time Fighters For Women: get your groove backIf your busy lifestyle means that you're missing meals and vital nutrients, Time Fighters will help. For women, there's a third response: "befriend". A landmark UCLA study turned five decades of stress research on its head with the revelation that a cascade of brain chemicals gives women a larger behavioral repertoire when confronted with stress. The hormone oxytocin is released as part of the stress response in women. It controls the fight/flight response and, instead, encourages her to tend children and gather with other women. Accordingly to co-researcher Dr. Laura Cousino Klein, now assistant professor of bio-behavioral health at Penn State, the study suggests that this "tending and befriending" response to oxytocin produces a calming effect. Although it will take new studies to reveal all the ways in which oxytocin encourages women to care for children and band together, it might also explain why women consistently outlive men.I have addressed numerous women's conferences and corporate networks of women and I can attest to the observable behavior that participants leave these sessions feeling stronger, encouraged, and positive. I believe they also leave healthier. The famed Nurses Health Study from Harvard Medical School found that the more friends people have, they less likely they are to develop physical ailments and the more likely they are to cope better with challenges.Sadly, today's busy agendas often find women canceling the most positive and healthy thing they can do: gather with other women to engage in the kind of "rapport" and "report" talk that hallmark feminine conversations. The corporate women's networks that generate the most return for the time and money investment allow for the nuts-and-bolts training needed for the business while also creating plenty of opportunity for mentoring, problem-solving and the informal sharing of personal issues. Create a gathering of women and stand back. The energy reborn from conversation, caring, compassion and concern can move a community, a business, and a nation into a higher place.(c) 2004, McDargh Communications. Can a woman who wears a size 12 dress and lifts weights to keep fit considered sexy?Marilyn Monroe wore a size 12 dress. She actually lifted weights regularly to keep fit. Yet men found her incredibly sexy, a favourite pin up girl then, a sex symbol now, years after her tragic death. When Jennifer Lopez first started out, her critics said she wouldn't fo far, because her behind was way too big. Undaunted, she flaunted her curvy bottom. Now, women are going for butt implants, to be just like her. Guys like curvy women. Take Eminem's hit for example. Ass like that. It is basically about women with curvy bottoms. Plus size bottoms. Men do find big bottoms sexy. Plus size women can be sexy.Seriously. How sexy is a skeleton? If a woman's bones are showing through her skin, is she really sexy? Yet women, from teenage girls to mature grown ups who should know better, are starving themselves just because of that dress size. This thin is beautiful craze is relatively new. Primitive society regarded plump women as beautiful. Even classical master centuries ago created paintings of their beauties, who by todays standards are definitely plus sized.Thankfully, the hour glass figure is one beauty ideal that still remains. Women with big breasts and big hips, but with a small waist have always been considered very attractive. If you are plus size to begin with, with a big bust and round hips, you can get that hourglass figure by wearing plus size corsets. You can find those at http://www.women-plus-size-clothing.com/plus-size-corsets.htm . That look still prevails now, with the countless women undergoing surgery in order to have bigger breasts. On top of that, you can be plus size and healthy. Healthy women athletes who are big boned and muscular probably would not fit into regular clothes made for skeletons. Yet their bodies are strong, taut and sexy. Sure, some of the regular sized jeans might be too tight if you are a big boned runner, but you can still look gorgeous in good looking jeans meant for larger sizes, like these at http://www.women-plus-size-clothing.com/plus-size-jeans.htm . And forget about those pesky dress sizes. You can look amazingly sexy in beautiful plus size dresses like those found athttp://www.women-plus-size-clothing.com/plus-size-dresses.htm . These actually fit you and flatter your figure.A size 14 is a plus size, but when a woman is tall and strong, with lovely hair, pretty features and inner beauty, she is very beautiful. If you are plus size, celebrate your curves. Beauty is more than that number on the dress label. It is about your poise. Your confidence. The way you carry yourself. How well groomed you are. You hair. You features. The way you make the best of what you were born with. A glowing skin. A healthy body, regardless of the number on that label, is beautiful.About the author:The writer is the webmaster of http://www.women-plus-size-clothing.comwhich also allows you tocreate new plus size looks for plus size women at http://www.women-plus-size-clothing.com/createoutfit.php

Men Collect and Shelve Women Trophies: Author Marc Rudov Blasts Unilateral Pursuit in Article About The Golden Rule

Men Collect and Shelve Women Trophies: Author Marc Rudov Blasts Unilateral Pursuit in Article About The Golden Rule
by: Marc H. Rudov, author of The Man’s No-Nonsense Guide to Women:
How to Succeed in Romance on Planet Earth (TM), has published a new article,

“The Golden Rule Dictates Your Sex Life,” that outlines the hazards of men unilaterally pursuing women. Basically, the traditional courting roles -- man as hunter and woman as trophy -- impose an unhealthy imbalance that obviates a peer relationship, which is the cornerstone of true mutual respect and a satisfying sex life. Like it or not, relationships adhere to the “Golden Rule of the Business World”: whoever has the gold makes the rules. The article is available from the book's Website: http://TheMansNoNonsenseGuideToWomen.com.Los Gatos, CA (PRWEB) January 5, 2004 -- Marc H. Rudov, author of The Man’s No-Nonsense Guide to Women: How to Succeed in Romance on Planet Earth (TM) (ISBN 0-9745017-0-0), has published a new article, “The Golden Rule Dictates Your Sex Life,” that outlines the hazards of men unilaterally pursuing women. In a stereotypical situation, a man, by default, leads and bankrolls the courting process. Consequently, he feels ownership of the process and the woman. Notwithstanding the obvious hazards of such an arrangement, most romancers are resigned to it. The only solution, which requires that both men and women reject years of socialization, is mutual pursuit. A companion piece to the book, the article is available for downloading from the Media & Events page at: http://TheMansNoNonsenseGuideToWomen.com.“Unilateral pursuit is an obsolete, destructive, demeaning practice for both the pursuers and the pursued, making both parties unhappy,” claims Rudov. “In the classical chase, man plays the aggressor and bounty-seeker, and, by design, woman plays the target, prize, conquest, and acquired asset. This power ritual made sense when women could not vote, get credit, own property, or be president of Brown University or CEO of Xerox. But, it sure as hell doesn’t make sense in our modern world. So, the woman who insists on being pursued, the passive trophy, must understand that she is yielding power to the man, who becomes the one with the gold and, therefore, the one who will and should set the rules. In professional sports, after collecting one trophy, the athlete has but one mandate: shelve it and win the next one. Men and women who play the unilateral-pursuit game always seem to experience the same phenomenon,” explains Author Rudov.Continuing, Author Rudov admonishes women: “Quite simply: If you don’t want to be treated like a trophy, don’t act like one. Be proactive, contribute gold, and share control.” Rudov adds, “Men and women should accept only peer-based, reciprocating relationships that begin with mutual, simultaneous pursuit.”Contrary to popular belief, Author Rudov maintains that men and women are from the same planet but, unfortunately, have been socialized differently and programmed for conflict. He counsels men that the only way to succeed with women is to remove their layers of socialized behavior and find women who have done, or are willing to do, likewise. The Man's No-Nonsense Guide to Women: How to Succeed in Romance on Planet Earth, which is available for $17.95 on http://TheMansNoNonsenseGuideToWomen.com, teaches them how. Both men and women have been buying the book and validating its principles. The book’s Website also contains a helpful advice column for men and women: Dear No-Nonsense Advisor.About the AuthorMarc H.
